Luna braves the falls for a photo opportunity on the Little Duck River in Manchester, Tennessee (20220221).
Look, waterfalls (and fast-moving waters in general) were never this girl’s jam — and I’m ok with that.
But for someone who would rather take in the sights and sounds of cascading waters from a distance, she seems to really understand my desire to capture her in relatively close proximity to these turbulent hydrographical features and is very accommodating. And for that she gets all the cheese she wants!
The largest drop along the Duck River, these falls served as a hydrodynamic power source for a mill here along the Duck River at Old Stone Fort State Archeological Park in Manchester, Tennessee (20220221).
I’m a native Houstonian. A life of traveling has led me to see my city in a new light, with a perspective I couldn’t have enjoyed before. Houston is so much more than a burgeoning metropolis borne on the banks of a bayou. Her arts, culture, food scene, and diversity make her a standout city. With Highlight Houston I want to focus on the qualities that make the city unique unto herself.
